Updates and Important Dates
Updated monthly, these are the most current updates and reminders:
SAT Weekend Registration
Registration for SAT® Weekend is now open for fall test dates. Students in the U.S. who find that the nearest test center is full can join Waitlist, which will help students secure a seat for the SAT at a test center within a customized distance as seats become available. Registration for spring dates will be available later this year.
SAT Fee Waiver Update
Current fee waivers (starting with “FW25”) will expire on August 13. Benefits already loaded into students' College Board accounts can be used and won’t expire. Please look for new fee waivers on August 13. These will be distributed through the K–12 Score Reporting Portal. Learn more about SAT fee waivers.
Bluebook Testing on Chromebooks
As you may know, students can only run Bluebook™ on school-managed Chromebooks. Starting with the August SAT administration, all Chromebooks must have Verified Mode enabled. Please remind students to test their device before test day to ensure Verified Mode is enabled. Students can't update this setting on their own. If Verified Mode isn’t enabled, they’ll need to get help at school to apply the required settings. Learn more.
