SAT School Day Overview and Important Dates
The SAT is a globally recognized college admission test that’s accepted at all U.S. colleges. Millions of students take the test each year as a step on their path to college. The test is offered at least seven times a year in the United States and up to six times a year internationally. The SAT is the last test in the College Board’s SAT Suite of Assessments.
Here are some reasons for students to take the SAT:
- Many colleges give weight to SAT scores when making admission decisions.
- SAT scores can help students find colleges that are the best matches for them.
- The SAT connects students with scholarships, fee waivers, and free college and career planning tools.
